Final Thoughts on the Gift of Time 2024

Time is a Gift...

When I began this project last January, I honestly didn't had no idea what to expect. It was just an obscure idea about giving the 'Gift of Time'; a gift that carries real significance, (you can read more in my original post here).

As I reflected and paused to think about what could be a 'Gift of Time' it guided me towards better ways to spend my own time. Maybe this was an unintentional gift to myself! If you followed along with me on this journey, I hope it gave you something valuable as well. Maybe it has prompted you to think differently about how you spent your time or who you spent it with.

While this may seem like it has litte to do with making art, I've learned throughout this year that our entire life is a work of art. We can make our life beautiful by how we spend our time, who we spend it with, and how we create experiences together.

I'm grateful to the artists who helped me with this project by sharing their own insights. Their participation was all voluntary, and truthfully some had more difficult topics than others! But I truly enjoyed bringing in others' perspectives on how time influences their artwork.​

Time is a precious gift, and I hope we continue to share it with each other!
