Gratitude is something that I struggle with...along with many other things of course!

But really, thank you to anyone who follows my little art journey and offers support. It motivates me to keep creating beautiful things and spreading joy.

Did you know that winter is also a great time to make Cyanotypes? The sun's intensity and the cooler temperatures are different but this makes the challenge of creating that much more fun!

Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about the moon. It comes and goes, sometimes bright with intensity and other times a small glow behind the clouds.

This is only what we can see from earth. The reality is that it's brightness and intensity are

I don't like brush strokes in my paintings.

I always try to make them look organic. Sometimes I do that with pouring paint, sometimes by blotting out lines with a paper towel, or spraying water on top to make everything blend together.

Then again,

Snow is here...

I realize some days I paint the weather subconsciously.
